Slanting hole counter sinks have a conical head with a slant opening. The cutting edge is formed by the slanted opening on the cutter on the cutter head. Because of the special cutting edge geometry, the filing can escape in a continuous flow which allows more stable, smooth, roundish counter sinking especially in thin metal sheets
